We run a 15 minute appointment system with both vet and nurse appointments throughout the day. In the event of an emergency, then you will be attended to as soon as possible. If there are any major delays, then our receptionists will endeavour to inform you how long the wait will be.
We are happy to make home visits if you are unable to come to the practice or if your pet is too unwell to travel. However, please bear in mind that all the equipment and resources are based at the practice and we would prefer you to bring your pet to us if at all possible to enable us to provide the optimum treatment.
After Hours
In the event of an emergency when the clinic is shut, please phone our telephone number 01872 273959. Here your call will be diverted to CVETs emergency clinic in Penstraze, Truro. CVETs is a dedicated out of hours clinic manned by a team that specialise in emergency care. If your pet needs to stay overnight, CVETs will arrange for him to be transported back to City Road the next day for continued hospitalisation and care.
Our practice is built on referral. 80% of new clients come in on the basis of personal recommendation. If you have friends who could benefit from our provision of veterinary care please let them know.
When your friend comes in for the first consultation/ booster, they get £10 off that. On your next visit you will get £10 off as well.
